Race site is Oakland Beach, adjacent to Rye Playland Amusement Park, in Rye NY 10580
BY CAR
From points North or South:
- New England Thruway (I-95) to Exit 19.
- Follow signs for Playland Parkway, which will take you towards Playland Park. Oakland Beach is less than 1/4 mile South (to the right) of Playland.
From points West:
- Cross over the Tappan Zee Bridge and onto I-287 East
- Take Exit 12 from I-287 onto I-95 South towards New York
- Take Exit 19 from I-95 onto Playland Parkway, which will take you towards Playland Park. Oakland Beach is less than 1/4 mile South (to the right) of Playland -OR-
- Cross the George Washington Bridge and proceed to I-95 North
- Take Exit 19 from I-95 onto Playland Parkway, which will take you towards Playland Park Oakland Beach is less than 1/4 mile South (to the right) of Playland
- Ample parking conveniently located near the transition area.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
SUNDAY 9/19/10 RACE DAY PARKING
All parking for athletes, volunteers and spectators will be at Playland. There will be parking attendants directing everyone where to park within Playland's parking lot.
BY AIR
Rye is conveniently located just 9 miles from Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY (airport code HPN). Rental cars and taxis are available. For more information, please visit Ground Transportation. Alternate airports include John F. Kennedy Airport or La Guardia Airport.
BY TRAIN
Rye train station is located on Metronorth?s New Haven line. Trains run every hour on Sundays from Grand Central Station. Please note: if catching a train on Race Day, you must be on the 5.40am from NYC. For more information on fares and schedules, please visit MetroNorth.
